Not very efficient day of hitchhiking: 4 rides for not even 100km. Our first ride was a local from Koprivshtitsa, he was obviously not speaking a word of English. We waited 40 long minutes to be picked by our second ride: an Iranian guy working as a marble importer from Iran to Bulgaria. A good occasion to train a bit my farsi! He told us through Google translate (while driving, overspeeding) that the Bulgarian were "thieves and lazy". 3rd super short ride with a young Bulgarian lady, and our last ride was a Bulgarian, former traveler and now managing an ostrich farm to do eco tourism. He was speaking perfect English, and offered us 2 pots of jam when we said goodbye.

Still 200 km to go to Burgas, and it was starting to be a bit late already, so we decided to finish our way by train. No train station there, it was almost as if we hitched the train. We paid our ticket "per kilometre" from where we jumped in to Burgas.
