After 3 hours of train (super old train), we arrived at this tiny train station 10km away from the city Koprivshtitsa. A friendly gay couple (French-Bulgarian) picked us up after less than 2 min waiting, and drove us in the city.

Koprivshtitsa is a small city famous for its history: here, the rebellion against the Ottoman started for the independence of Bulgaria. It is famous for its houses with typical architecture, and also for its huge folk music festival, happening once every 5 years, during which 80k artists perform for some 200k tourists. Really hard to imagine all this people in such a small city! Especially because it was the middle of the week, we were the only tourists in the city.

We spent a nice calm afternoon, enjoying the calm of the city, walking a bit in the hills.
