Total disconnection for 3 days in the Pamir range. The place is supposed to be crowded during high season, full of alpinists attempting the ascent of Lenin Peak (7100m). We saw no one. Only 1 French hiker, and hundreds of marmots.

The first day, we walked 8km before setting up our base camp, at 4000m elevation. On the second day, we went through Travelers pass, 4200m, but could not continue much more: the path was not secured yet, it was dangerous to continue further. Anyway, we were struggling a bit with the altitude : short breath, dehydration, headache... Manloi even through up the first night. And we had problem to cook at this altitude.

Appart from a full afternoon stucked in our tent because of the snow, we got quite lucky with the weather, and the temperature was not that low (maybe -5°C the coldest).

The views were stunning, very colourful. We could see grass, flowers, snow, red rock, black rock... It was so weird to he that high and also so tiny I comparison to the 6000 and 7000m peaks surrounding us. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
