Bishkek, final destination of my amazing trip through Eurasia. We spent our time relaxing, chilling in sovietic parks full of status, getting lost in the Osh bazaar, eating in great restaurants... We even went for a Thai massage, real blessing after all those hikes, uncomfortable transports and shaky horse ridings.

It was time for me to go back home, with a quick 8-hour-teleportation in a plane. Manloi, on her end, was continuing her journey alone in Kazakhstan to get a plane back to Hong-Kong (unfortunately she could not continue her journey by land, the border with China still closed because of Covid and geopolitics problems).

This has been an amazing 50 days of travel. Very intense for sure, very diverse.

We went through 6 different countries, 2 continents. We crossed Europe by bus, train and hitchhiking. We shared our Black Sea journey with truck drivers on a cargo ship. We explored the desert of Kazakhstan in a 4x4 car, and spent thousands of kilometers in a train to escape from this dead land, following the legendary Silk Road. We wandered through the Kyrgyz steppes, sometimes in Marchrutka, sometimes on a horse, sometimes by foot.

We slept sometimes at local places, yurts, tent, train, hostels... We saw amazing cities, wild mountains, traditional countryside and the peaceful sea. We tried all kind of food (way too much meat, but that's part of the game). We played with kids, discussed with adults, strugglingwith the few Russian worlds we knew. We learnt about geography, geopolitics, history. We met very interesting people, travelers, locals. We had good surprises, bad surprises, nice moments, hard moments.

We only had a glimpse of this part of the world, but at least now we have a better idea of what stands between Europe and Asia, we know more about the "Stan countries"!
